📋 Description

• Design and build software and systems for Brightback’s customers • Participate in the engineering life cycle • Write production code • Conduct code reviews • Maintain software in production • Perform incremental quality work • Build new systems to enable future quality improvements

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience • BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or a related field • Expertise in one or more object-oriented languages such as Java, Scala, C#, or C++ • Knowledge of core computer science concepts, including common data structures and algorithms • Experience working with distributed systems • Exceptional debugging and troubleshooting skills • Comfortable conducting design and code reviews • Clear and concise communication • Data-driven decision-making • Passion for teaching, learning, and growing expertise • Collaborative and helpful approach with teammates, customers, partners, and the organization • Comfortable working remotely and self-sufficiently • AWS solutions, event-driven systems, MapReduce, OLAP, Postgres, enterprise SaaS development, and ETL pipelines are listed as pluses
