• Drive strategic, financial, and operational results within the Electrical Distribution business • Establish strategic objectives and meet or exceed growth and profitability objectives • Attract, develop, coach, and promote talent • Lead and coordinate sales, marketing, product development, supply chain, and finance activities across distribution channels • Drive market share growth, revenue, and profitability in North America • Develop and implement strategies for Electrical Distribution programs and activities • Drive sales of existing and new products across all distribution channels • Build relationships with Electrical Construction Partners and customers to understand market needs • Drive orders and sales growth and margin improvement through mix enhancements, new product launches, platforming efficiencies, and pricing actions • Manage financial performance and monthly business team meetings • Drive the innovation pipeline for new Electrical Distribution products • Oversee product line additions and deletions, component changes, standardization, forecasting, pricing, and product management • Provide senior management with growth strategies and recommendations • Monitor customer needs with marketing, sales, account management, DTC, and competitive intelligence teams • Travel to meet sales staff, distributors, and industry experts • Identify potential acquisitions in related product lines • Facilitate career development plans and build internal bench strength • Report to the Chief Executive Officer
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience • 12+ years of related experience required with progressively more responsibility and a track record of results • Previous leadership and coaching experience required • Approximately 45% travel is required • High-level strategic and analytical thinking • Strong presentation and communication skills • Ability to lead through influence and collaborate across multiple functional areas • Proven track record bringing new products and category strategies to market • Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines • Excellent analytical, conceptual, and business partnering skills • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills • Ability to take initiative and work independently and as part of a team
