📋 Description

• Own cases from readiness for a demand letter/package through payout administration • Review and quality-assure demand letters, notices, case memos, and Terms of Service • Identify inconsistencies in statutory citations, legal theory alignment, state coverage, and Terms of Service conformity • Perform pre-send QA on demand letters and notice batches using existing AI skills and SOPs • Shepherd drafts through in-house and outside counsel review, track redlines, and confirm packages are sent on schedule • Plan and sequence demand letter/package workflows, including scope, claimant counts, and target send dates • Coordinate with Operations on package readiness and assembly • Maintain case status as a single source of truth and publish weekly status updates • Maintain Case Updates and Ledger documents for initiated cases • Track cases through data delivery, arbitrator selection, hearings/mediation, settlement, and payout administration • Manage Needs Attention items with Marketing, Operations, and counsel • Track outreach performance and improve response rates and cycle time • Run payout workflows with Operations • Ensure each active case has an owner, current status, and next milestone • Flag timeline slippage early and improve demand-package QA and initiation predictability

🎯 Requirements

• Legal background required: paralegal certification, JD, law school coursework, or equivalent hands-on litigation experience • Ability to read and assess demand letters, case memos, and Terms of Service • Familiarity with US law and prior experience working with US law • 5+ years in project/program management, operations, paralegal, or case management roles • Complex litigation or mass arbitration experience is a strong plus • Proficiency with AI tools and modern tooling, including Claude/LLMs, Notion, Linear, Airtable, and similar tools • Comfort with structured data and spreadsheets • Ability to build and maintain scalable trackers across many cases • Strong verbal and written communication • Ability to interface with Mensch/Rettferd and other law firms
