📋 Description

• Design, build, and scale Checkbook's payments platform • Develop and architect exceptional web applications • Build and ship robust APIs integrating with internal, partner, and customer systems • Ensure application security and data integrity • Design and optimize large database schemas, queries, and objects • Develop automation tools and strategies to ensure web application quality and stability • Stay current with web technologies, industry trends, and best practices • Own projects from architecture through launch

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline • 5+ years of experience working with Python, Postgres, and frontend frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue.js, Ember) to build robust web applications • Familiarity with Python web frameworks including Flask, FastAPI, and Django • Ability to translate business requirements into effective software solutions • Excellent problem-solving skills • Fintech background is a plus, but not required
