📋 Description

• Develop and manage large-scale capital engineering projects for automation, IoT, and continuous improvement solutions • Collaborate with Operations, Health & Safety, Finance, Quality, and external suppliers throughout project lifecycles • Prepare CapEx documents, cost estimates, project justifications, equipment layouts, and technical specifications • Manage equipment installation and commissioning, including contractor supervision and safety compliance • Drive continuous improvement to reduce Mean Time Between Failures and increase operational efficiency using AI, robotics, and digital twins • Develop training programs and operational documentation for handover to operational teams • Maintain financial control, forecast expenditures, manage budgets, and ensure fiduciary compliance • Champion Zero Harm, environmental, safety, and regulatory standards • Lead and evolve S+ serialization processes and technology in service centers and pallet-handling locations • Serve as principal Process Owner for equipment, infrastructure, and software supporting the S+ ecosystem • Lead development, standardization, implementation, and continuous improvement with Chile, North America, and global teams • Lead site-based S+ proof-of-concept and pilot activities • Measure and report trial and test success and recommend next steps • Define ramp-up and run metrics; develop scorecards and tracking processes • Track process and equipment expansion across North America and Chile and deliver progress updates • Define and document global operating processes for S+ equipment • Convert local improvement ideas into projects, requirements, and project documentation • Ensure maintenance and repair processes are documented • Validate Total Cost of Ownership assumptions and values during update cycles

🎯 Requirements

• Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical preferred) • 10+ years in manufacturing, supply chain, industrial operations, automation, or logistics environments • Experience in Process Engineering and Product development in Supply Chain/Manufacturing • Experience leading technical projects from problem identification through implementation • Process ownership mindset with end-to-end systems thinking • Experience collaborating across engineering, operations, digital, and vendor teams • Strong stakeholder influence without direct authority • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives • Comfortable operating in complex global environments • Program/project management capability • Able to translate operational issues into technical requirements • Electromechanical background strongly desired • Experience with machine vision, automation, industrial equipment, scanning, serialization, RFID, labeling, or tracking technologies desirable • Spanish language capability highly desirable • Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen exposure desirable • Product lifecycle or industrialization experience desirable • Supply chain transformation experience desirable • Experience creating SOPs, playbooks, or scalable operating standards desirable • Financial/TCO optimization experience desirable • Must live near a major US airport • Must be able to travel up to 50% across North and South America
