📋 Description

• Facilitate training and education for users of Children’s Minnesota’s Epic electronic health record system • Deliver Epic-provided training sessions and supplemental education • Provide guidance on workflows, system navigation, and EHR best practices • Support clinicians and non-clinicians in effectively using Epic • Work closely with clinical and operational teams and Epic Informatics and ITS teams • Adapt and tailor delivery of Epic-led EHR training for diverse audiences • Help ensure end users are confident and proficient in using the system • Use pre-existing Epic training materials; the role does not include creating new training materials

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a healthcare-related field, informatics, education, or information technology required • All relevant required certification programs should begin no later than one month after the employee’s start date • Required certifications must be obtained within three months after the certification program begins and maintained on an ongoing basis • Minimum of 2+ years of experience working with EHR systems in an informatics, IT, or training capacity required • Experience facilitating training sessions for clinical and/or non-clinical staff preferred • Comprehensive understanding of Epic EHR applications, including workflows, navigation, and reporting tools • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse audiences • Ability to facilitate education and training for individuals or groups with varying levels of technical proficiency • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines • Flexibility to adapt training delivery to different learning styles and user roles • Familiarity with clinical workflows and healthcare operations preferred • Must be a resident of Minnesota or Wisconsin • Successful completion of an occupational health assessment, drug screen, and background investigation • Compliance with the U.S. Government Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification
