📋 Description

• Maintain equipment through troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and preventive maintenance • Facilitate repairs as required • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations • Test new equipment as directed • Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs • Use email and Circle K computer-related forms • Participate in training for existing and new equipment • Accomplish related results and Financial and Key Result Area targets under Company plan guidelines • Increase professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, professional publications, personal networks, and professional societies • Work with minimum direction and periodic supervision • Support multiple locations between Mt. Vernon and Carbondale, Illinois

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED • Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted • 3-5 years’ experience of maintenance construction field or more preferred • Must have manual dexterity to operate equipment and work in confined spaces • Able to use power and hand tools • Required crouching and/or crawling and ability to use a ladder • Experience in telecommunications is preferred but not required • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities • Ability to work independently in a high priority, confidential, demanding business environment • Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable as a driver • Must be computer literate in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word • Able to sit for long periods, operate a computer keyboard and mouse, view a monitor, hear and speak via telephone, and reach forward and/or overhead • Occasionally able to lift up to 80 pounds
