📋 Description

• Define enterprise-scale architectures, target-state designs, standards, integration patterns, and multi-year roadmaps • Steer large, high-impact initiatives from architectural vision through execution • Coordinate resources across Cisco, customer, and provider organizations, regions, and business units • Evaluate and resolve cross-architecture challenges, dependencies, scalability, security, operations, and tradeoffs • Advise customer executives and technology leaders on business priorities, recommendations, costs, implications, and consequences • Assess and integrate AI, automation, and emerging technologies where they deliver measurable value • Influence Cisco technology and services strategy through customer insights • Build technical capability across Cisco and customer teams by developing architects and engineers • Establish reusable practices and promote consistency across engagements • Represent Cisco expertise in strategic customer engagements, technical forums, Cisco Live, and industry events

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus 12 years of related experience, or Master’s degree plus 8 years of related experience, or PhD plus 5 years of related experience, or equivalent relevant work experience • Expert-level certification (e.g., CCIE) or equivalent relevant certification expected • Technical mastery in core architectures and extensive enterprise technology expertise • Ability to integrate Cisco and third-party technologies into cohesive, scalable solutions • Proven architectural authority in large, highly integrated customer environments • Experience defining long-term technology strategy and resolving cross-architecture challenges • Experience leading enterprise-scale technology initiatives across organizations, disciplines, and business units • Credibility with executive and technology leaders • Ability to translate business priorities and technical concepts into clear strategies and recommendations • Experience developing technical resources, shaping technology or services direction, establishing reusable architecture practices, or representing technical expertise externally
