📋 Description

• Architect, build, and optimize enterprise-grade analytical data models using dbt Core/Cloud and complex SQL • Structure modular data transformations exposing standardized clinical and operational datasets • Develop and optimize scalable pipelines for large volumes of healthcare datasets, including EHR, Claims, FHIR, and HL7 feeds • Reduce compute times and warehouse/lakehouse spending • Design, automate, and monitor production-grade DAGs using asset-centric orchestration frameworks such as Dagster • Implement real-time data freshness checks, anomaly detection, and automated alerting systems • Collaborate with Data Engineering, Governance, and BI teams on ELT integration, semantic models, metric definitions, and data contracts • Enforce HIPAA and HITECH compliance across codebases • Implement row- and column-level security, dynamic PII/PHI masking, CI/CD code checks, and technical documentation for audit readiness

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of analytics and data engineering experience • Extensive experience in senior analytics engineering or data roles • Mastery of SQL, dbt, Python, and workflow orchestration platforms such as Dagster/Airflow • Deep hands-on knowledge of healthcare data frameworks, including FHIR, HL7, ICD-10, CPT, and claims feeds • Knowledge of PHI protection standards under HIPAA • Experience operating governed analytics pipelines in cloud data environments such as Databricks, Snowflake, AWS EMR/Redshift, and BigQuery
