📋 Description

• Coordinate detailed, timely, and accurate light fixture packages for customers • Nurture customer and vendor relationships • Maintain and maximize profitability • Communicate with coworkers and internal and external customers • Review purchase order terms and conditions when customers place orders • Prepare and send submittals to customers • Enter purchase orders and sales orders in Eclipse • Prepare and maintain three-ring, tabbed project binders • Review returned submittals • Release approved material to the factory for production and shipment • Send updated shipment status reports to customers weekly • Expedite factory shipments to meet project time requirements • Release lamps for shipment to coordinate with fixture arrival • Prepare change-order material and pricing • Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes with customers and/or vendors • Provide replacements for incorrect, defective, or damaged material • Arrange material returns to the factory and issue credits • Prepare balance sheets to ensure projects are billed accurately • Work with a sense of urgency • Follow Granite City's core values and commitment to excellence

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a business discipline preferred • Minimum 2-5 years experience in construction, lighting or wholesale preferred • Equivalent education or experience may be substituted • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook • Eclipse experience preferred • Adaptability, flexibility, and willingness to change • Ability to take direction and think independently • Ability to work on a computer all day, every day of the work schedule • Strong organizational and communication skills • Ability to multitask, solve problems, and prioritize • Customer service skills • Understanding of lighting systems, including fixtures, lamps, and lighting controls • Ability to embrace and apply Granite City Electric Supply Company core values • Ability to successfully pass a drug test • Must satisfy applicable employment eligibility requirements; employer uses E-Verify
