📋 Description

• Execute the company’s sales plan in an assigned territory • Maintain and expand the existing customer base across all product lines to achieve growth objectives • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers • Investigate and troubleshoot quality and customer service issues and identify solutions • Maintain a prospect pipeline • Prepare proposals, submit quotes, author call reports and sales presentations, and sample or demonstrate products • Source raw materials, including empty containers, in addition to selling • Determine efficient shipping methods for order fulfillment • Communicate the brand identity and implement company initiatives • Work closely with the Vice President of Sales as part of a team approach to increasing territory sales revenue

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum five years of B2B industrial sales or distribution sales experience, preferably with industrial-oriented UN packaging • A bachelor’s degree is preferred but candidates with appropriate experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree • Superior written and verbal communication and effective listening skills • Strong sales hunter mentality and passion to succeed • Strong prospecting and account qualification skills • Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies • Ability to understand financial and business plans comprehensively • Ability to work with senior management and plant-level employees in a team environment • Comfortable working in office, factory, and warehouse environments • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; pivot-table experience is a plus • Ability to problem solve, prioritize, and react quickly in a high-stress environment • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Experience with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM tool • Ability to travel 15–20% of the time
