📋 Description

• Responsible for the preparation of Clarke’s bi-weekly multi-state payroll • Reviews time sheets for fidelity to Clarke’s policies • Updates payroll records for changes in compensation • Processes bi-weekly payroll for all Clarke employees • Assists in preparation of required documentation for federal and state filings • Prepares and posts payroll biweekly to the G/L and tracking spreadsheets • Responds to employee inquiries and resolves issues • Prepares materials and participates in all audits • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (preferred) • Experience in multi-state payroll processing (required) • Fund Accounting & Grants (preferred) • Strong Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP • Strong accounting skills • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
