📋 Description

• Own day-to-day execution of assigned AI data center sites in the Southeast from entitlement through commissioning and turnover • Keep the VP, Projects, AIDC informed of and escalate decisions with material impact on budget, schedule, scope, or risk • Directly manage the region's Site Readiness function, including surveys, permitting strategy, and early site diligence • Lead internal staff and outside contractor resources supporting regional sites • Lead relationships with local jurisdictions, utilities, and landowners during entitlement and permitting • Coordinate with other CleanSpark business units to align site-level work with broader company objectives • Serve as the owner's primary day-to-day contact with the design-build contractor's leadership through design, construction, and commissioning • Manage site-level schedule, budget, and risk with CleanSpark's Program Controls function • Coordinate with Quality, HSE, and Commissioning resources to ensure sites meet standards before turnover • Represent CleanSpark's interests across the region and escalate significant matters to the VP, Projects, AIDC • Provide regular status updates to project and executive leadership • Build, lead, and develop the region's site team as the Southeast portfolio grows

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in site development, land development, or construction management for large-scale infrastructure, industrial, or data center projects • Experience carrying projects from entitlement through construction completion • Experience working with design-build or EPC contractors under lump sum or similar delivery models • Strong understanding of permitting, utility interconnection, and land use processes • Sound judgment on routine site decisions and ability to escalate major decisions promptly • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and lead cross-functional teams, including internal staff and outside contractor resources • Strong communication skills and ability to represent the company with external stakeholders • Candidates must be insurable under CleanSpark's vehicle insurance policy • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Real Estate Development, or related field, or equivalent field experience (preferred) • Experience in data center, hyperscale, or mission-critical infrastructure development (preferred) • Existing experience or relationships within the Southeast market, including local jurisdictions and utilities (preferred) • PMP or similar project management certification (preferred) • Experience managing design-build relationships under LSTK (Lump Sum Turnkey) contracts (preferred)
