📋 Description

• Develop and lead the overarching strategy for digital fundraising supporting Cleveland Clinic’s philanthropic priorities • Provide strategic leadership for digital fundraising initiatives • Evaluate emerging opportunities, technologies, platforms, and digital tools • Align digital efforts with organizational goals, donor expectations, and industry best practices • Identify individual and corporate sponsorship prospects, volunteers, and donors • Develop funding proposals aligned with donor, sponsor, volunteer, and organizational priorities • Coordinate donor communications and stewardship reporting • Engage volunteers in planning events and initiatives • Collaborate with internal partners on foundation grant applications, cause marketing, fundraising events, and annual fund activities • Lead donor acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue growth initiatives • Establish key performance indicators and optimize digital fundraising performance using data-driven insights • Conduct industry research on trends, benchmarks, and best practices • Serve as subject matter expert for fundraising and marketing technology vendors, including evaluation, selection, implementation, and ongoing management • Partner with philanthropy, marketing, communications, IT, legal, compliance, and finance stakeholders • Oversee compliance, governance, and risk management related to digital fundraising, data use, online giving platforms, and third-party partnerships • Travel throughout the hospital system • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree • Five years of experience in project management, donor relations, event management, marketing or soliciting of corporate sponsors • Transferable skills may offset some of the experience requirement • Demonstrated success and experience in event management and marketing strategies • Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills • Ability to establish and maintain friendly and cooperative relations with corporate executives, volunteers, staff physicians, and others • Ability to perform well in a highly interactive, dynamic team environment • Strong knowledge of digital fundraising platforms, donor engagement tools and CRM • Demonstrated experience developing and leading digital fundraising strategies in a complex organization • Experience evaluating and managing external vendors, platforms, and technology partners • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data and market insights into actionable recommendations • Knowledge of compliance, privacy, and risk considerations related to digital fundraising and donor data • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information • Must comply with the annual influenza prevention program by obtaining a vaccination or approved exemption • Employment offers are followed by testing for controlled substances
