📋 Description

• Conduct customer service and support caregivers on nursing units at Cleveland Clinic hospitals • Review and communicate staffing and scheduling adjustments, including nurse-to-patient ratios • Work with management of assigned facilities and units to review staffing levels and licensed/unlicensed staffing needs • Generate and review 24-hour staffing projections • Seek coverage by phone calls and/or texts for shifts and special circumstances • Conduct the Lack of Work process according to Standard Operating Procedure when necessary • Identify and resolve complex staffing issues affecting patient care • Use multiple computer systems to communicate with nursing leadership across hospitals • Collaborate with nurse leadership to review current and anticipated staffing needs • Collaborate with nursing institute timekeeping to ensure proper caregiver time coding • Facilitate scheduling of PRN and agency caregivers • Document caregiver schedule changes in Kronos • Serve as a point of contact for unit call-offs • Record, document, and report call-offs according to SOP • Compile ad hoc and scheduled reports for Chief Nursing Officers, Nursing Directors, and Nurse Managers • Attend and successfully complete required training

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of customer service experience • Associate's Degree may substitute for up to 1 year of the stated experience • Bachelor's Degree may substitute for up to 2 years of stated experience • Proficient in MS Office, Excel and database software • Required to work evenings, 3:00pm–12:00am • Required to work every other weekend and clinic holiday • Manual dexterity for constant data entry • Ability to sit for long periods of time • Ability to use a telephone without TTY • Articulate speech • Must comply with the annual influenza prevention program through vaccination or approved exemption • Must undergo controlled-substance testing after an employment offer
