📋 Description

• Conduct customer service and support caregivers on nursing units at Cleveland Clinic Hospitals • Review and communicate staffing and scheduling adjustments encompassing nurse-to-patient ratios • Work directly with management of assigned facilities/units to review staffing levels and licensed and unlicensed staffing needs • Proactively generate and review 24-hour staffing projections • Seek coverage via phone calls and/or texts for shifts and special circumstances • Conduct the Lack of Work process according to Standard Operating Procedure when necessary • Identify and resolve complex staffing issues affecting patient care • Use multiple computer systems to communicate with nursing leadership of all hospitals • Collaborate with nurse leadership to review current and anticipated staffing needs • Collaborate with nursing institute timekeeping to ensure proper caregiver time coding • Facilitate scheduling of PRN and agency caregivers • Complete documentation in Kronos for caregiver schedule changes • Serve as a point of contact for unit call-offs • Accurately record, document and report call-offs according to SOP • Compile ad hoc and scheduled reports for Chief Nursing Officers, Nursing Directors and Nurse Managers

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of customer service experience • Associate's Degree may substitute for up to 1 year of the stated experience • Bachelor's Degree may substitute for up to 2 years of stated experience • Proficient in MS Office, Excel and database software • One year of staffing/scheduling experience preferred • Requires manual dexterity for constant data entry and ability to sit for long periods of time • Ability to use a telephone without TTY • Articulate speech • Attend and successfully complete required training • Must comply with the annual influenza vaccination program or obtain an approved exemption • Employment offers are followed by controlled-substance testing
