📋 Description

• Own order management and automate intake, review, and processing of quotes, order forms, and bookings to defined SLAs through quarter-end peaks • Design and continuously improve the quote-to-order flow, including architecture, exception routing, and automation • Write requirements, design quoting, validation, and approval logic, drive the roadmap with Revenue Engineering, run UAT, and validate production changes • Own the handoff into billing and revenue, partnering with Accounting to ensure transactions are structured, complete, and reconcilable • Build validation rules, guided quoting, required-field logic, and automated reconciliation controls • Improve the field transaction experience by reducing steps and handoffs and shortening quote cycle time • Build and run marketplace transaction operations across AWS, GCP, and Azure, including private offers, CSP transactions, and reconciliation across marketplaces, Salesforce, and billing • Encode approval rules and guardrails so routine deals route automatically and exceptional structures are escalated • Build order management, quoting, and marketplace processes for new products and acquisitions and test them through booking before go-live • Maintain the integrity of products, SKUs, pricing, contract terms, and booking attributes in Salesforce • Monitor and report on cycle time, touch count, SLA attainment, exception and discount volumes, error rates, and rework rates • Partner daily with Sales, Accounting, Finance, Legal, and Revenue Engineering • Report to the Director, Commercial Strategy & Operations

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in commercial operations, deal desk, order management, sales operations, or revenue operations, including ownership of a high-volume transactional process • Track record of replacing manual processes with designed processes, automation, controls, and measured results • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ • Ability to write requirements, design quoting and approval logic, configure and test systems, and distinguish configuration problems from process problems • Experience with flows, validation logic, API-based and marketplace integrations, and scripting or SQL for high-volume data reconciliation and investigation • Ability to partner with Revenue Engineering on system design • Experience with usage-based or consumption-based contracts, including metering, commits, overages, contract structure, billing, and revenue recognition implications • Experience operating across a shared quote-to-cash process • Marketplace operations experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including private offers, CSP transactions, and reconciliation, strongly preferred • Process-engineering approach focused on instrumentation, standard-case design, exception routing, throughput, and error rate • Experience making transactional processes faster or simpler for sales teams • Comfort partnering with Accounting, Finance, and Legal on order form and contract mechanics • Sound judgment under deal pressure • Clear written and verbal communication • Experience managing or mentoring analysts is a plus • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field preferred
