• Build and lead a new investor relations function for Climate First Bank • Develop and execute an investor relations strategy aligned with growth roadmap, capital priorities, mission, and governance expectations • Create repeatable processes, calendars, messaging frameworks, and reporting routines • Serve as liaison between executive leadership and the investment community • Prepare investor presentations, shareholder communications, market updates, board-ready materials, and executive communications • Partner with Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and executive leaders to ensure accurate, consistent, timely, and regulation-aligned messaging • Translate complex financial, strategic, and banking concepts into concise narratives • Manage relationships with investors, analysts, transfer agents, advisors, and shareholders • Coordinate investor meetings, roadshows, conferences, shareholder events, and follow-up • Monitor market trends, peer bank activity, investor sentiment, analyst commentary, and competitive positioning • Provide actionable insights to senior leadership • Manage and maintain the investor relations website, platform, materials library, and disclosure-related content • Stay informed of regulatory requirements and complete mandatory compliance and IT training • Follow bank policies, procedures, and regulations • Question suspicious activity and collaborate to help prevent fraud
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Communications, or a related field • Minimum 5+ years of experience in investor relations, corporate finance, banking, equity research, capital markets, financial communications, or a related field • Ability to understand bank financial statements, capital planning, shareholder communications, and regulatory considerations • Experience preparing investor presentations, executive communications, market updates, or board-level materials with a high degree of accuracy and polish • Ability to build a function from the ground up and create scalable, repeatable processes • Financial acumen covering performance, capital, growth, risk, reputation, financial reports, market trends, valuation metrics, shareholder expectations, and peer activity • Ability to communicate complex financial and strategic information clearly to investors, executives, and cross-functional partners • High judgment, confidentiality, accuracy, timing, consistency, and compliance discipline • Willingness to learn and apply bank policies, disclosure expectations, regulatory requirements, and governance practices • Ability to learn new tools quickly and use technology, data, and market intelligence platforms • Familiarity with investor relations platforms, market data tools, transfer agent systems, or financial reporting technology is helpful • Commitment to environmental, social, economic, and racial justice • Must be a non-smoker or affirm commitment to cessation within 90 days of offer acceptance • Valid U.S. work authorization; the employer does not offer visa sponsorship • Must complete cognitive and personality assessments, credit and background checks, and reference checks as part of the hiring process
