• Guide customers to successfully adopt and maximize value from their Spotfire investment • Drive long-term customer success across a portfolio of clients, achieving adoption, retention, and satisfaction • Serve as a trusted advisor and key liaison between customers and internal Spotfire teams • Translate customer business objectives into actionable success plans covering onboarding, adoption, monitoring support, upgrades, new features, and centers of excellence • Develop analytical deliverables using exploratory analytics, machine learning, statistical modeling, and AI • Perform and guide R&D in applied machine learning and AI • Translate customer goals into technical objectives, create custom industry solutions, provide guidance, and build prototypes • Work on projects involving large language models, digital twins, time-series anomaly detection, and mathematical modeling of manufacturing processes • Collaborate with sales, support, product management, and engineering to improve outcomes, resolve escalations, identify sales opportunities, and provide product roadmap input • Engage customers in the Spotfire community to drive adoption and enablement • Contribute industry and data science content • Represent the team as a speaker or instructor at industry events and external conferences • Continue developing expertise in industry analytics and visual data science tools and techniques • Coach and train other employees within the job area • Work toward operational targets with major departmental impact and limited oversight
• 6-8+ years of data science experience using software environments and programming languages such as Spotfire, Tableau, Qlikview, SPSS, KNIME, Dataiku, Azure, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, Python, and R • 6-8+ years of experience in advanced data analytics and delivery of demonstrations, projects, engagements, or deployed software applications • Experience applying machine learning and optimization techniques to large, complex, and disparate data sources • 6-8+ years of industry experience applying analytics to Energy sector-specific data problems • Ability to formulate real-world problems mathematically, propose and compare solutions, deploy solutions, validate results, and present results to stakeholders • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills • Ability to provide compelling software demonstrations and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences using storytelling • Strong collaboration skills and ability to manage multiple projects to completion • Bachelor or higher degree in STEM with graduate classes in statistics and data mining • Proficiency in English required • Full working rights for North America • Fluency in Spanish is a plus • Knowledge of SQL, .Net, Java, IronPython, Javascript, C++, Generative AI, and Data Virtualization is a plus
