📋 Description

• Support the organization’s financial operations through transaction processing, payroll administration, accounts payable support, cash receipts recording, and maintenance of complete financial records • Report to the Finance Officer and work closely with internal staff, vendors, payroll providers, and other external partners • Record financial transactions accurately and promptly in the accounting system • Prepare and post journal entries and allocations to support accurate financial reporting • Maintain complete, organized, and up-to-date financial records and supporting documentation • Assist with recurring accounting processes and general ledger accuracy • Process payroll accurately and on schedule • Maintain payroll records and assist with payroll reconciliations • Help resolve payroll-related questions or discrepancies • Process grants payable and accounts payable invoices and ensure timely, accurate payments • Set up and maintain vendor accounts and payment details • Review and process credit card expense reports • Maintain payables and employee expense reimbursement documentation • Train staff and vendors on finance systems • Review and post donations, cash receipts, and other incoming funds • Ensure receipts have appropriate coding and complete documentation • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on delinquent accounts • Resolve cash receipt or revenue-entry discrepancies as needed • Assist with bank and account reconciliations and month-end close • Support the Finance Officer with internal controls and consistent financial processes • Prepare audit, reporting, and finance-review documentation and schedules • Identify workflow improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and consistency • Work part-time for Rural Victory Fund under a resource-sharing agreement; responsibilities are overseen by Sixteen Thirty Fund
