📋 Description

• Lead highly complex project management initiatives • Meet with business unit leadership and stakeholders to determine project requirements, specifications, testing, support, training, timelines, and budgets • Manage projects using Velera standards, Agile, Waterfall, and other methodologies • Coordinate integration elements, project plan development and execution, and change control • Develop project plans covering scope/charter, work-breakdown structure, planning, definition, verification, and change control • Ensure projects meet established time, budget, quality, and resource objectives • Monitor critical paths, scope, timelines, resources, costs, and financial controls • Plan, assure, and control project quality • Organize project teams, acquire staff, and support team development • Communicate project risks and mitigation steps to stakeholders • Partner with team members to resolve project issues and delays • Monitor change events and assist with issue resolution • Maintain project documentation, schedules, status reports, risks, RACI, change requests, action items, issues, lessons learned, and project health • Track defects and resolutions through sprints or project phases • Critique completed projects and identify process improvement opportunities • Serve as project lead on projects with multiple project management staff • Resolve issues arising from changes to business specifications or defined tasks • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Business Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience required • PMP certification preferred • Five (5) years related project management experience required • Experience in systems or financial services environment, card payments, banking, contact center, new product development, information technology or process re-engineering preferred • Experience managing large scale technology projects (software/hardware) • Ability to manage multiple assignments, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills • Ability to give presentations utilizing various audiovisual support aids • Strong leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, mediation, and influencing skills • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills • Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment • Proficiency in project management, Microsoft Project, Visio, word processing, and spreadsheet applications • Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies • Ability to travel as needed, less than 25% • This role is currently not eligible for sponsorship
