📋 Description

• Serve as a senior client-facing leader across cloud engineering engagements • Own engagement momentum, delivery excellence, scope, milestones, risks, dependencies, quality, and client satisfaction • Lead high-priority client escalations and difficult conversations • Ensure client commitments, engagement decisions, tradeoffs, status, and next steps are communicated clearly • Own engineering quality, risk management, technical readiness, design quality, implementation quality, and corrective actions • Implement and drive adoption of approved architecture, engineering, and operational readiness standards • Ensure clear technical handoffs across internal and external teams • Support backlog management, prioritization, dependency, work-in-progress, and recovery practices • Partner with Sales and pre-sales teams on discovery, delivery feasibility, solution shaping, and cloud services approaches • Develop and review scopes of work, estimates, assumptions, dependencies, milestones, and acceptance criteria • Validate technical content in SOWs, Change Orders, and Contracts • Oversee customer feedback loops and refine offerings with product, sales, and marketing teams • Deliver presentations, blogs, and community outreach as an industry thought leader • Build scalable operating processes, playbooks, and governance for Cloud Services engagements • Provide technical and delivery leadership, reusable approaches, documentation, and continuous improvement • Own training, new-hire enablement, onboarding, career pathways, promotion readiness, performance expectations, and succession coverage • Establish qualification, onboarding, work allocation, quality review, and performance expectations for subcontractors and delivery partners • Serve as accountable Delivery leader for quality, delivery, architecture, implementation, performance, and contractual escalations • Maintain tracking of commitments, effort, status, risks, dependencies, resources, and recovery actions • Provide executive-level briefings and ensure KPI tracking for customer success, operational excellence, and delivery quality • Lead through influence across delivery teams and cross-functional partners • Provide coaching and feedback to improve performance and strengthen Cloud Services • Provide engineering demand, skills, capacity, staffing, utilization, subcontractor, dependency, and delivery-readiness inputs

🎯 Requirements

• Proven leadership experience with cloud engineering, security engineering, consulting, or managed services delivery teams • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, security controls, vulnerability management, operations, and technical delivery governance • Demonstrated experience managing managers, architects, senior engineers, and technical workstreams across multiple engagements • Experience implementing engineering standards, quality controls, backlog discipline, technical capacity requirements, and escalation recovery • Experience supporting sales lifecycles, validating technical scope and commercial inputs, and translating engineering effort into accurate pricing • Strong client communication, technical judgment, prioritization, and people-leadership skills • Proven expertise in driving customer satisfaction, security adoption, and retention • Experience in conference presentations, blogging, and community engagement • Ability to align cybersecurity solutions with market demands and customer needs • Skilled in translating complex security concepts into actionable business insights • 8+ years in managing consulting, cloud engineering, strategy, or leadership roles • Strong experience establishing delivery standards and improving operational performance across a cloud services portfolio • Experience with executive engagement, thought leadership, and security and engineering enablement programs • Direct experience leading cloud services delivery teams or organizations • Background in customer-facing roles, including client escalations, delivery governance, or high-level technical discussions • Relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, GCP, ITIL, TOGAF, or related disciplines are preferred
