📋 Description

• Lead a complex enterprise cloud migration from Microsoft Azure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of the Chief Financial Officer Consolidated Business Systems • Manage end-to-end planning, coordination, governance, and execution of the migration • Coordinate across infrastructure, application, database, security, networking, architecture, operations, and business teams • Develop and execute the migration roadmap with technical leadership, application owners, cloud architects, Oracle, Microsoft, implementation partners, and business stakeholders • Minimize business disruption and manage technical and operational risk • Manage large-scale cloud or data center transformation programs involving multiple applications, infrastructure dependencies, vendors, and business stakeholders • Lead project governance, dependency management, executive communication, migration, and cutover activities • Provide guidance to a small team and integrate with a larger team • Analyze complex data and present findings and recommendations clearly

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science • 14+ years of related experience • Extensive experience and knowledge with AWS, Azure, and Oracle cloud providers • Direct experience leading an Azure-to-OCI migration or comparable hyperscaler-to-hyperscaler cloud migration • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services, migration methodologies, and cloud architecture • Experience with Oracle databases, Oracle applications, Exadata, or other Oracle technology platforms • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles and practices • Familiarity with Microsoft .Net applications • Experience working with MySQL database • Experience with Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, Teams, and similar business tools • Excellent written and verbal skills • Ability to provide guidance to a small team and integrate as part of a larger team • Ability to analyze complex data and present findings clearly • Ability to present recommendations and influence as needed • Demonstrated experience working in a load-balanced environment • Understanding of IT practices, service management, governance frameworks, and industry standards including ITIL, ITSM, COBIT, and ISO • Working knowledge of IT tracking tools, preferably ServiceNow • US citizenship required • NACI (T1) public trust requirement • Ability to travel 10–25%
