📋 Description

• Design, develop, deploy, and support modern web applications hosted in AWS GovCloud • Build intuitive, responsive React.js single-page applications • Work across user experience, frontend architecture, APIs, authentication and authorization, cloud services, containerized workloads, data persistence, deployment, and operational troubleshooting • Research, design, develop, and modify enterprise-wide systems and application software • Plan system and development deployments and meet software compliance standards • Evaluate hardware/software interfaces, operational requirements, and overall system characteristics • Document testing and maintenance of system corrections • Develop and integrate REST APIs, backend services, relational databases, object storage, and AWS application services • Build, deploy, and operate containerized applications in AWS • Support automated testing, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, code review, and application observability • Collaborate with product, platform, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and data teams throughout the software development lifecycle • Participate in requirements analysis, architecture, implementation, code review, testing, deployment, documentation, and production support • Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to application architecture and engineering practices • Support the Defense Security Cooperation Agency Office of the CIO on the Foreign Military Sales Case Development Modernization effort

🎯 Requirements

• Strong proficiency in React and modern frontend application architecture • Experience programming in TypeScript • Experience with Material UI (MUI), TanStack Query, and Fastify • Experience with REST API development and integration with front-end applications • Experience developing and deploying applications in AWS and integrating with AWS services • Solid understanding of Agile and iterative development methodologies • Experience translating business processes into software requirements and solutions • Ability to work independently and in collaborative team settings • Must possess and maintain an active Secret clearance at the time of consideration • Must align with Eastern Time Zone core business hours • Software Development Analyst II: 2 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 0 years with a Master's degree; or high school diploma/equivalent and 6 years relevant experience • Software Development Analyst III: 5 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 3 years with a Master's degree; 0 years with a PhD or Juris Doctorate; or high school diploma/equivalent and 9 years relevant experience • Must maintain a home-work environment meeting company and government security requirements • Must be able to communicate effectively in virtual meetings, briefings, and secure collaboration environments
