📋 Description

• Perform inpatient coding for diagnosis and procedure codes in an acute care setting • Apply ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding standards • Use MS DRG Coding Classification Systems • Meet client productivity targets while maintaining coding quality of 95% or greater • Work remotely using VPNs, multi-factor authentication, and video conferencing platforms • Use Outlook, calendar, and Excel for communication, meetings, and data management • Maintain a committed regular schedule with reliable and punctual attendance

🎯 Requirements

• AHIMA or AAPC (CPC, CIC, COC) certification • A minimum of two years’ recent inpatient coding experience in an acute care setting • Experience coding ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS diagnosis and procedure codes • Knowledge of MS DRG Coding Classification Systems • Technical competency with remote-based connectivity, including virtual private networks, multi-factor authentication via smartphone, and video conferencing platforms • Proficiency with Outlook email, calendar, and Excel spreadsheets • A committed regular schedule with reliable and punctual attendance • Ability to meet client productivity targets while maintaining coding quality of 95% or greater • Ability to work independently, remain detail-oriented and quality conscious, and adapt well to change
