📋 Description

• Perform inpatient coding for acute care cases • Apply ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS diagnosis and procedure codes • Use MS DRG Coding Classification Systems • Work remotely using VPN, multi-factor authentication, and video conferencing platforms • Communicate and manage meetings using Outlook email and calendar • Manage data using Excel spreadsheets • Meet client productivity targets while maintaining coding quality of 95% or greater • Follow a committed regular schedule with reliable and punctual attendance

🎯 Requirements

• AHIMA or AAPC certification (CPC, CIC, or COC) • Minimum of two years’ recent inpatient coding experience in an acute care setting • Experience coding ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS diagnosis and procedure codes • Knowledge of MS DRG Coding Classification Systems • Technical competency with remote-based connectivity, including virtual private networks, smartphone-based multi-factor authentication, and video conferencing platforms • Proficiency with Outlook email, calendars, and Excel spreadsheets • Ability to maintain a committed regular schedule with reliable and punctual attendance • Ability to meet client productivity targets while maintaining coding quality of 95% or greater • Ability to work independently, flexibility, attention to detail, quality consciousness, and adaptability to change
