📋 Description

• Cultivate a deep understanding of Cohere’s clinical content, utilization management products, and clinical programs • Produce analytics and insights to drive program effectiveness and value for internal business partners and clients • Lead clinical analytics projects with multidisciplinary partners • Understand business needs and clinical nuances, formulate plans, and build and maintain analytical and reporting solutions • Lead in-depth analyses and identify optimization opportunities using statistical data mining and predictive modeling on administrative and clinical health data • Track cost, utilization, and industry trends to inform stakeholders of product performance • Provide data-driven insights to optimize clinical value for patients, providers, and payors • Collaborate with clinical, account management, data science, and engineering partners to refine product features and support clients • Foster a collaborative and innovative culture and mentor junior analysts • Maintain meticulous documentation and present findings or recommendations to company leadership and internal stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience working in a big-data analytics role • 2+ years of hands-on project leadership experience in the healthcare industry • Experience interfacing with internal and external business stakeholders on the development and read out of client and program specific KPIs • Ability to use statistical analysis and modeling tools such as SQL and Python • Understanding of healthcare systems, medical terminologies, and clinical workflows • Experience with large datasets including medical claims, pharmacy, and eligibility data • Experience developing dashboards and self-service business intelligence tools such as Tableau • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Experience owning complex projects, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, setting goals, and meeting deadlines for multiple ongoing projects • Ability to identify issues within healthcare data, devise solutions, and develop scalable solutions • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare or quantitative discipline such as Epidemiology, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Health Informatics, Public Health, or related field required • Experience with clinical and utilization management programs for specialty care is a bonus • Experience working with unstructured data from EMR/EHR systems is a bonus • Familiarity with AWS Athena and Sagemaker is a bonus • Master’s degree in healthcare or quantitative field is a bonus
