📋 Description

• Negotiate and structure tailored commercial agreements with strategic fintech and technology partners • Drive novel agreement frameworks for product partnerships • Provide practical, risk-balanced legal guidance • Partner with Business Development, Sales, Product, Engineering, Finance/Tax, and Compliance • Solve problems, build partnerships, and close complex deals on accelerated timelines • Build commercial playbooks, templates, and scaled strategies • Advise business leaders on transactional and product roadmap implications • Identify legal risks and structure solutions aligned with Coinbase’s commercial objectives

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. (or applicable equivalent) • 7+ years of relevant transactional experience in-house or at a leading law firm • Active licensure in a U.S. state • Experience negotiating and structuring complex fintech commercial agreements • Track record of closing high-stakes deals with sophisticated counterparties • Ability to independently own deal execution end-to-end, from term sheet through closing • Experience managing multiple concurrent transactions with cross-functional stakeholders • Track record of building scalable legal processes, including playbooks, templates, and deal frameworks • Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight • Ability to work in the United States
