📋 Description

• Perform electromechanical, electronic, and pneumatic diagnostics on automated CNC cutting machines, servo drive systems, height sensors, and plasma units • Lead on-site system integration, machine alignment, leveling, I/O verification, CNC parameter configuration, process gas calibration, and test cutting • Execute planned maintenance audits, component rebuilds, motion calibration, torch consumable optimization, and emergency repairs • Diagnose and interface with CNC controllers, PLC logic, industrial fieldbuses, and safety interlocks • Train customer maintenance technicians, CNC programmers, and operators on machine safety, operation, torch setup, and preventive care • Author Field Service Reports documenting failure modes, root causes, corrective actions, and recommended spare parts • Collaborate with Aftermarket and R&D engineering teams on design reliability improvements • Assess system wear profiles and formulate BOM recommendations for critical spare parts packages • Support customer retrofit and upgrade roadmaps • Work directly at customer manufacturing facilities, heavy fabrication plants, shipyards, and structural steel operations across the United States

🎯 Requirements

• Associate Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology (EET), Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical trade school certificate / U.S. Military technical rating • 2–5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial field service, machine tool repair, robotics, or automated manufacturing systems • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, hydraulic/pneumatic schematics, and mechanical assembly blueprints • Commitment to industrial safety standards, including OSHA compliance, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and NFPA 70E / Arc Flash awareness • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, work in industrial plant environments, climb ladders, maneuver around large gantry machinery, and stand/walk for extended periods • Valid U.S. Driver’s License with a clean driving record • Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Passport • Direct experience with thermal cutting technologies and CNC motion platforms preferred • Familiarity with CNC nesting software, CAD/CAM file formats (DXF, DWG, ESSI, G-code), and remote diagnostic tools preferred • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is an asset
