📋 Description

• Own the accounting function end to end as the Company’s senior accounting leader • Manage the monthly five-business-day close across five entities, including journal-entry review, account reconciliations, fluctuation analysis, and monthly reporting support • Own multi-entity consolidation, intercompany accounting and eliminations, and foreign-currency translation • Coordinate and oversee the consolidated US GAAP audit and 401(k) plan audit • Oversee accounts payable and lead customer billing across approximately 400 monthly invoices and three product lines • Own the internal control environment, including segregation of duties across accounting and payroll cycles • Serve as technical accounting lead for ASC 606 revenue recognition and ASC 350-40 internal-use software capitalization • Maintain the foreign subsidiary’s local-currency books and support local tax filings and foreign payroll review • Process US payroll across multiple states and review payroll registers and change reports • Support budgeting, trend analysis, management-results meetings, data standardization, and governance • Ensure local, state, and federal compliance; prepare US federal and multi-state income-tax packages and coordinate estimated payments • Own sales and non-income tax compliance, including the Avalara-NetSuite integration • Support private-equity sponsor and lender compliance reporting • Lead and develop a team of four across accounting and billing, building documented cross-coverage • Own NetSuite configuration, process design, automation, accounting policies, procedures, audit readiness, and diligence readiness • Report to the SVP, Finance and interact with executives, business leaders, auditors, tax advisors, lenders, and the private equity sponsor

🎯 Requirements

• Strong command of US GAAP in a software environment, including the ability to research, document, and defend technical positions with external auditors • Hands-on ERP experience and advanced Excel skills • Experience with multi-entity consolidation and a foreign subsidiary, including foreign currency translation • Experience leading a small team across professional accounting and transactional roles in a hands-on environment • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights • Ability to operate in a lean, private equity-backed environment with a defined reporting cadence and direct exposure to the sponsor, lenders, and auditors • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage competing obligations • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • Minimum of ten years of progressive accounting experience, including at least three years owning a monthly close end to end • Active CPA (bonus point, not required) • Experience with NetSuite, Avalara, Paylocity, Ramp, or comparable AP automation (bonus point, not required) • Foundation in public accounting audit (bonus point, not required) • Software or SaaS industry experience (bonus point, not required) • Healthcare technology experience (bonus point, not required) • Experience with a private equity-backed company (bonus point, not required) • Prior exposure to a transaction process, including diligence, quality of earnings, or purchase accounting (bonus point, not required)
