📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end project management for AP course and exam revisions and updates • Own and continuously improve course and exam changes and standard setting roadmaps • Develop and maintain scalable project plans, timelines, milestones, process documentation, and templates in Smartsheet • Monitor progress, dependencies, risks, issues, changes, project health, and mitigation plans • Ensure deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and to a high quality standard • Report project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership • Drive accountability across cross-functional teams and recommend tradeoffs among scope, timeline, and resources • Explore and integrate approved Generative AI tools into project management workflows • Standardize workflows and improve tracking systems, dashboards, documentation, and operational visibility • Serve as the primary AP Curriculum and Assessment liaison for cross-department initiatives • Translate cross-functional input into actionable project plans and timelines • Manage execution of special projects involving C&A staff • Support standard setting planning and coordination with Psychometrics • Partner on contracts and budgeting and contribute to oversight of operational resources • Maintain visibility into team interdependencies and escalate risks or misalignments

🎯 Requirements

• At least five (5) years of project management experience required • Preferably experience in the higher education industry • Superior expertise in Smartsheet and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint • Strong analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making and prioritization skills • Ability to forecast and measure using appropriate metrics • Ability to oversee multiple interdependent workstreams while keeping projects and budgets on track • Experience partnering on contracts and budget management for complex projects • Ability to identify risks early and solve problems creatively • Proven ability to build relationships and influence others to action • Ability to lead meetings effectively with internal and external constituents • Superior presentation and written communication skills • Ability to manage the entire process/product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities • Strong customer service orientation • A bachelor’s degree • Ability to travel 3–6 times a year to College Board offices or for College Board business • Passion for expanding educational and career opportunities and mission-driven work • Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies, willingness to adopt AI-driven solutions, and comfort learning new digital tools • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills • Learner’s mindset and commitment to growth • Drive for impact and excellence, including data-informed decision-making • Collaborative and empathetic approach • Authorization to work in the United States
