📋 Description

• Support the U.S. Chronic Care organization by educating payors and policy makers through patient groups, professional societies, and industry associations • Build relationships with stakeholders at state and federal levels • Shape public opinion on challenges and solutions to optimize patient access to Coloplast offerings • Report health policy and payment risks identified by Reimbursement and Market Access • Support Market Access, Reimbursement, and Government Affairs initiatives • Drive Coloplast initiatives through external stakeholders, groups, and forums • Manage relationships and represent Payors and Evidence initiatives with external stakeholders • Develop compelling public affairs campaigns with internal teams and external public relations and media agencies • Measure campaign outcomes and recommend next steps • Mobilize patient organizations, advocacy groups, professional societies, industry associations, and coalitions • Coordinate execution of global campaigns as part of the Global Government Affairs & Patient Advocacy team • Create and deploy a public affairs engagement toolbox in commercial settings • Drive internal alignment so public affairs supports Coloplast Chronic Care business objectives • Partner with Coloplast and Comfort Medical teams to cultivate external stakeholder relationships and support business initiatives • Coordinate with the US Reimbursement and Government Affairs Director on federal stakeholder engagement • Support US Market Access initiatives involving managed care, state-level access, policy expansion, and price protection • Travel as needed to support key initiatives • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, language and culture, political science, or a related field from an accredited institution • Minimum 10 years of successful experience developing and executing patient advocacy or public affairs campaigns • Competence in communications, including storytelling, writing, strategic communications, and new media • Ability to form strategic relationships with key personnel in stakeholder groups • Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects with a drive for results • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and spokesperson skills • Ability to express complex information and processes clearly, concisely, and compellingly • Complex stakeholder and project management skills • Ability to travel as needed to support key initiatives • Compliance with applicable laws and regulations, the MedTech Code of Conduct, and company policies • Master’s degree in communications, business, language and culture, political science, or a related field preferred • Previous experience in patient advocacy, patient organizations, and/or public affairs in the medical device industry preferred • Experience with campaigns involving disability, healthcare inequity, unmet medical and emotional needs, personalized healthcare, mental health, human dignity, or chronic care coordination preferred
