📋 Description

• Research and track federal contracting opportunities using GovWin, SAM.gov, FPDS, USASpending, GSA eBuy, and other government intelligence sources under supervision • Maintain and update opportunity records in the Salesforce CRM pipeline • Monitor agency procurement forecasts, budget justifications, and RFI/sources-sought notices • Compile competitive intelligence and background research on teaming partners, subcontractors, and agency priorities • Prepare briefing materials, opportunity summaries, and pipeline status reports for leadership reviews • Support proposal development by reviewing solicitation checklists, formatting documents, updating resumes and past-performance write-ups, and organizing compliance matrices • Organize and maintain the opportunity tracking database, boilerplate/content repository, and staff qualifications library • Take notes and follow up on action items from BD team meetings and relevant industry events or webinars • Complete assigned research projects and short-term deliverables • Work under the direct guidance of the Business Development Analyst and Growth leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Currently pursuing, or recently completed, a bachelor’s degree in Business, Political Science, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field • Genuine interest in federal contracting, government healthcare programs, or business development as a career path • Strong research, writing, and organizational skills with close attention to detail • Comfortable learning new software platforms and databases • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required • Ability to manage multiple short-term tasks, meet deadlines, and ask questions when priorities are unclear • Ability to commit to the internship’s required schedule (hours and duration to be confirmed with the hiring manager) • Candidates must be able to sit, read, work on a computer, and watch a computer screen for extended periods
