📋 Description

• Support the maintenance, configuration, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless technologies, and security appliances • Assist with network design, capacity planning, and implementation of infrastructure improvements • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure reliable system availability • Support network security through system maintenance, backups, disaster recovery processes, and adherence to best practices • Research and evaluate network technologies, products, and services to support future initiatives • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to support network projects and services • Maintain network documentation, technical specifications, and asset inventory • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights as assigned • Recommend and assist with approved network upgrades, repairs, and performance enhancements • Provide guidance and support to team members while maintaining compliance with privacy, confidentiality, and information security standards

🎯 Requirements

• High School/GED required • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred • Three (3) years equivalent work experience preferred • Expert knowledge of various routing/switching protocols • High level understanding of configuration and deployment of Cisco/Meraki, HP, Aruba, Velocloud, and Fortinet devices and software • Expert knowledge of security standards configuration of network hardware/software • High level ability to troubleshoot and problem solve complex networking issues • Ability to conduct research into networking issues and products as required • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment preferred • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment • A valid, unrestricted driver’s license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required • Cisco Networking certification (CCNA) or equivalent experience preferred • Ability to communicate technical information and concepts in a clear, user-friendly manner • Demonstrated ability to work independently with strong self-direction and initiative • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
