📋 Description

• Dedicate the majority of the role to group therapy while flexing into primary therapy • Utilize CBT, DBT, ACT, ERP, and other evidence-based therapies • Meet with patients individually to assess progress and guide treatment planning • Coordinate care with patients’ individual providers • Assess patients’ progress and need for higher level of care or discharge • Conduct assessments and consult with intake clinicians to determine patient-program fit • Communicate with patients’ family members or support system when indicated • Complete initial intake evaluations to determine diagnosis and program appropriateness • Chart in the electronic medical records system • Engage in crisis management as part of a treatment team • Create and update treatment plans • Participate in professional development activities • Lead group therapy sessions teaching DBT, CBT, and ACT skills • Collaborate with Group Therapists, Family Therapists, Prescribers, outpatient teams, patients, and families

🎯 Requirements

• Hold one of the following licenses or certifications in the state of Illinois: LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD • 2+ years of clinical experience conducting individual and/or group therapy • Ability to assist families and patients in talking about difficult topics • Excellent time management skills and ability to juggle multiple demands in a fast-paced, changing environment • Skilled at providing therapy via virtual platforms: Zoom, Microsoft Teams • Values communication and teamwork • Align with the mission and values of Compass Health Center
