📋 Description

• Design, deploy, and maintain Splunk observability solutions including Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring, Splunk APM, and Splunk Log Observer • Develop and manage dashboards, alerts, and reports to monitor system and application health and performance • Implement and maintain integrations with AppDynamics, DataDog, or similar observability solutions • Ensure seamless data flow between monitoring tools • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement efficiency improvements • Analyze monitoring data and provide actionable insights and recommendations • Participate in incident response, using observability tools to diagnose and resolve issues • Develop and refine incident response procedures and documentation • Collaborate with DevOps, development, and IT teams • Provide training and support on observability tools and best practices • Stay current with observability and monitoring trends and technologies • Identify improvements and drive initiatives to enhance observability infrastructure

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an observability or monitoring role • Strong expertise in Splunk's observability solutions • Experience with other observability tools such as AppDynamics, DataDog, or similar • Proficiency in creating and managing dashboards, alerts, and reports • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools • Relevant certifications in Splunk or other observability tools
