📋 Description

• Manage a steady, high volume of incoming healthcare-related customer calls • Assist customers with questions, inquiries, and issues related to healthcare coverage • Navigate multiple computer systems while speaking with customers and resolving issues by phone • Verify coverage, copays, and coinsurances for medical services and medications • Provide alternative medications when needed • Verify authorization and referral requirements and check previously requested authorization/referral status • Locate in-network pharmacies and providers • Review pharmacy claim status • Provide basic overviews of enrolled benefits and claim status • Receive back-to-back calls in a fast-paced environment • Complete 11 weeks of classroom training and 2 weeks of nesting

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or college degree • Must have 6 months of customer service experience • Successfully complete customer service assessment and computer-based typing test • Complete mandatory paid training program with 100% attendance • Successful completion of a background check • Computer navigation experience • Must be flexible to work anytime Monday-Sunday, 8:00 AM-10:00 PM EST, including weekends and holidays • Must manage 30-40 systems and 25-40 calls per day • Must remain at desk for duration of shift except scheduled breaks and lunch • Home internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload • Must hardwire work computer directly to home modem via Ethernet • Satellite and wireless internet are not acceptable • Quiet, distraction-free, clutter-free workspace with no other people or unauthorized electronics during working hours
