📋 Description

• Manage a steady, high volume of incoming customer calls • Navigate multiple computer systems while speaking with customers and resolving issues by phone • Verify coverage, copays, and coinsurances for medical services and medications • Provide alternative medications when needed • Verify authorization and referral requirements and check previously requested authorization/referral status • Locate in-network pharmacies and healthcare providers • Review pharmacy claim status • Answer questions about enrolled benefits and submitted claim status • Remain at the desk for the duration of the shift except during scheduled breaks and lunch • Receive back-to-back calls in a fast-paced environment

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or college degree • At least 6 months of customer service experience • Successfully complete a customer service assessment and computer-based typing test • Complete mandatory paid training with 100% attendance • Successful completion of a background check • Computer navigation experience • Flexibility to work anytime Monday-Sunday, 8:00 AM-10:00 PM EST, including weekends and holidays • Ability to manage 30-40 systems and 25-40 calls per day • Home internet connection with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed • Ability to hardwire the work computer directly to the home modem via Ethernet • Satellite and wireless internet are not acceptable • Quiet, distraction-free, clutter-free workspace with no unauthorized people or electronics during working hours
