It delivers state-aligned curriculum and virtual classroom experiences with certified teachers, personalized learning, and support for families serving as learning coaches. The program offers grade-level courses, college and career readiness, clubs and socialization opportunities, and technology support across multiple U. S. states.

📋 Description

• Support and motivate students through the Pearson Online Classroom • Deliver synchronous instruction and asynchronous recorded lessons • Provide intervention, enrichment, individualized support, and differentiated instruction • Use student data and evidence to diagnose learning needs and implement Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 interventions • Provide clear, constructive, and consistent feedback on student work • Create progress reports and conduct parent conferences • Communicate regularly with parents, students, and teachers to develop and update Personal Learning Plans and schedules • Score assessments, monitor assignments, and coach special projects • Support alternate lessons, assessments, strategies, daily assignments, and projects • Build relationships with students and families • Collaborate with staff and professional learning communities to monitor progress and make instructional decisions • Maintain accurate student records, cumulative files, attendance accounting, and contact logs • Coordinate with Advisory Teachers and School Counselors to ensure communications, progress, and goals are addressed • Coordinate and attend social activities, school events, graduation, and relevant field trips • Develop virtual methods to create and maintain a school community • Attend required school and district professional development • Participate in state testing organization and administration • Participate in student recruiting sessions and marketing efforts • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Valid high school teaching credential in Ohio • Strong technology skills, especially Microsoft Office and Google Workspace • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Highly organized and punctual • Student- and family-focused approach • High degree of flexibility • Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced environment • Track record as a team player • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with students, parents, staff, and diverse community members • Willingness to travel for marketing and state testing events, potentially including occasional overnight travel • Ability to work occasional evening hours as needed • Ability to work remotely if necessary • Ability to use a personal electronic device and email address for two-step authentication
