📋 Description
• Provide direct English language development (ELD) instruction aligned with students' language proficiency levels • Collaborate with classroom teachers to support English learners in accessing grade-level curriculum • Monitor and document language development progress • Communicate regularly with families using appropriate language supports • Participate in English learner identification, placement, and reclassification processes
🎯 Requirements
• Valid teaching certificate with appropriate ESL, ELL, or bilingual endorsement (as required by Washington state) • Washington state residency • Strong collaboration and communication skills • Experience working with linguistically and culturally diverse students preferred
