📋 Description

• Handle general accounting responsibilities, primarily expense and balance sheet accounts • Maintain full ownership of the accuracy and logical consistency of assigned tasks while complying with internal controls • Participate in monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses • Support lease accounting schedules under ASC 842, including expirations, renewals, and period-end adjustments • Maintain and update corporate debt schedules for debt instruments and credit facilities, including interest accruals and fee calculations • Oversee or support the fixed asset lifecycle, including capitalization reviews, depreciation tracking, roll-forwards, and retirement processing • Prepare disclosure schedules for quarterly and annual financial filings • Partner with FP&A, Tax, Internal Audit, and Legal to streamline financial workflows and solve operational challenges • Participate in departmental projects and initiatives • Perform other assigned or requested duties

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of accounting experience under US GAAP • 1+ years of cloud-based accounting software experience (Oracle Fusion is a plus) • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and pivot tables • Deep understanding and practical application of accrual accounting principles under US GAAP • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes • Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong project management skills • Proficient in time management, task prioritization, and meeting tight deadlines • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to articulate financial concepts clearly to financial and non-financial stakeholders • BA or BS in accounting or related discipline required • CPA preferred • Big 4 experience preferred • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.; sponsorship is not available • Must be able to sit for long periods and handle long periods of screen time
