📋 Description

• Maintain living context files such as CLAUDE.md that encode project standards and learned preferences • Update context files whenever AI output is corrected • Design verification systems, including hooks, CI gates, and acceptance criteria, to reduce line-by-line review of AI output • Convert repeated manual corrections into system improvements, rules, reusable skills, and persistent context • Run multiple agents on concurrent workstreams and coordinate their output coherently • Identify logic errors, architectural drift, and hallucinated APIs that agents miss • Improve systems rather than only patching individual outputs • Participate in feature implementation, technical design, risk assessment, and delivery estimates • Identify dependencies and preparatory work needed to keep the team unblocked • Context-switch between concurrent workstreams, priority pivots, and emergent live issues • Operate within a large codebase and understand system architecture and connections to CI/CD, automated testing, non-production environments, and linters • Evaluate technical debt versus new feature development and account for dependencies affecting estimates • Work across a multi-service architecture spanning Django/Python backends, React frontends, and a shared component library • Own features end-to-end from database schema through UI components • Allocate time to improve development systems alongside feature delivery

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • 5+ years of professional software development experience • Proficiency in one or more back-end programming languages, such as Python, Java, Node.js, Go, or Ruby • Proficiency in front-end programming languages, including vanilla ES6+ JavaScript and React • Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or other API architectures • Strong knowledge of SQL or NoSQL database systems and query optimization techniques • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud • Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes • Understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and testing • Experience with Git or other version control systems • Experience with CSS, including responsive layouts, design system tokens, and component-scoped styles • Daily use of AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Copilot, Claude, or equivalent • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated output, catch hallucinations, and integrate suggestions with judgment • Experience using AI tools for code review, documentation, test generation, or debugging • Comfort prompting LLMs for architecture exploration, refactoring, and boilerplate reduction • Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures • Experience maintaining living AI context files such as CLAUDE.md • Experience designing automated verification workflows, hooks, test gates, and CI checks • Ability to demonstrate a compound AI system that improves over time through deliberate system investment • Experience building systems that verify themselves using rules, hooks, and context files • Understanding of how agents can game tests, with concrete detection or prevention strategies
