📋 Description

• Oversee the review and improvement of security technology across client data center projects. • Inspect, monitor and validate construction activities, installations, testing, commissioning and contractor deliverables. • Ensure work meets project specifications, industry standards and client requirements. • Identify and articulate risks within the campus portfolio and communicate risk treatment and acceptance options. • Work with the Client team to prioritize identified risks and treatment plans. • Identify and escalate non-conformances and coordinate corrective actions with vendors, contractors and engineers. • Provide oversight of outage planning, work plans and project closeout activities. • Represent the client on-site and maintain detailed quality records. • Witness and document critical system tests, including pressure tests, leak tests and system start-ups. • Inspect building security systems, including mechanical and electrical systems, for compliance. • Conduct risk assessments for client data center sites and identify critical security concerns. • Monitor installation, testing and commissioning of security systems. • Maintain inspection reports, logs and compliance records. • Oversee corrective actions, final inspections, punch lists and project closeouts. • Verify the quality of materials, workmanship and equipment installations. • Collaborate with contractors, engineers and inspectors to resolve issues. • Represent the Client in alignment with contract requirements and project deliverables.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree. • 7+ years of experience in assurance, specifically working in Data Center Security or another heavily secured environment. • Experience conducting risk assessments for Data Centers required. • PSP preferred. • Must be adept at working independently and engaging productively with a range of stakeholders. • Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, submittals, shop drawings, method statements, inspection test plans and QA/QC documentation. • Ability to identify quality risks, installation defects, incomplete work and documentation gaps before they affect commissioning or operations. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Ability to work iteratively and deliver high-quality documents and outputs requiring little to no rework. • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. • Track record of earning leadership trust, challenging norms, upgrading team performance, enabling growth, improving efficiency, and leading without formal authority. • Ability to think outside the box, challenge industry norms and adapt quickly to evolving requirements. • Ability to travel up to 75% with a moment's notice in region. • Employment authorization verification through E-Verify and Form I-9 at the start of employment.
