• Review clinician inquiries regarding prospective patients and provide general feedback based on documented case acceptance criteria and medical policy documents • Review and interpret straightforward PGT-M referrals, provide risk assessments, and document preliminary PGT-M test plans • Generate referral-focused pedigrees and complete related paperwork and chart documentation • Provide GC-partnered clinics with information about intended PGT-M genetic testing plans • Assist with clinical reviews of laboratory-issued PGT-A, PGT-SR, and PGT-M test reports • Review straightforward PGT-M sub-cycle orders for compliance with clinical case acceptance criteria • Collaborate with Senior and Lead Genetic Counselors on complex PGT cases • Support performance, quality improvement, and systems-related initiatives • Collaborate with other departments to support clinic partner experiences • Adhere to departmental SOPs • Participate in department meetings and discussions about standard PGT cases and outcomes • Complete continuing education and log and submit required CEUs • Engage in client communications by phone and email • Participate in discrepancy investigations, PGT-Complete non-match outcomes, and incidental finding notifications
• Knowledge of and proficiency in MS Word and Excel • Aptitude for learning other computer software as needed • Excellent customer service skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • High interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and management • Strong attention to detail in composing and proofreading materials • Excellent organizational skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Ability to work effectively from a remote setting and sit for extended periods using computer equipment • Foundational knowledge in the job area, including two years of professional education • Master’s degree from an accredited genetic counseling program • Applicant for Active Candidate Status or board-certified with the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) • Holds or is able to obtain genetic counseling license or temporary licensure in appropriate states, if applicable • New graduates from an accredited genetic counseling program are encouraged to apply
