📋 Description

• Perform quality assurance of PGT laboratory and genetic counseling protocols (60%) • Use clinical, molecular, and population genetics knowledge to verify laboratory report data • Assist laboratory scientists with reports for complicated or non-standard results • Conduct clinical review of PGT-M sub-cycle orders against current case acceptance criteria • Contribute to departmental and product improvement initiatives • Provide clinical and technical support to CooperSurgical staff, clients, and external genetic counselors across laboratories (30%) • Manage domestic and international PGT-M and PGT-SR cases from enrollment through test completion • Conduct genetic counseling consultations and generate enrollment summary documents or consultation reports • Counsel patients on PGT-M, PGT-SR, and PGT-A procedures, risks, benefits, and limitations • Document patient encounters in internal systems and prepare client- and patient-facing letters • Process PGT documents returned by external consultant genetic counselors • Assist clinics, patients, and the broader CooperSurgical organization with PGT processes • Contribute to short-term genetic counseling projects that improve team function (10%) • Participate in genetic counseling meetings, training events, and group initiatives • Complete continuing education and submit required CEUs

🎯 Requirements

• Bilingual (English/Spanish), with proficiency in reading and writing in both languages • Knowledge of and proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • High level of interpersonal skills to interact with patients, customers, peers and management in a compassionate and professional manner • Strong attention to detail in composing and proofing materials • Excellent organizational skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously • Ability to work well independently with little supervision and in a team setting • Remote setting; must have private home office space available • Three years of relevant genetic counseling work experience, including at least one year in a laboratory setting • Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling or similar field from an ABGC-accredited institution, or its international equivalent • Board registered with the ABGC, or its equivalent • Ability to complete occasional domestic and/or international travel
