📋 Description

• Perform quality assurance of PGT laboratory and genetic counseling protocols • Use clinical, molecular, and population genetics knowledge to verify laboratory report data • Assist laboratory scientists with reports for complicated or non-standard results • Contribute to departmental and product improvement initiatives • Provide clinical and technical support to staff, clients, and external genetic counselors across laboratories • Manage domestic and international PGT-M and PGT-SR cases from enrollment through test completion • Conduct genetic counseling consultations and generate enrollment summary documents or consultation reports • Review PGT-M sub-cycle orders against clinical case acceptance criteria • Assist clinics, patients, and the organization with PGT processes • Contribute to short-term genetic counseling projects and participate in meetings and training events • Complete continuing education and submit required CEUs • Support post-launch PGT product data collection and analysis • Support reproductive genetic counseling and Fertility Patient Programs with operational and quality initiatives • Handle complex PGT case reports, sub-cycle reviews, and laboratory investigations

🎯 Requirements

• MS degree in Human Genetics or equivalent field from an American Board of Genetic Counseling accredited institution, or its international equivalent • American Board of Genetic Counseling board certified • Holds or is able to obtain genetic counseling license in appropriate states • Three years of relevant genetic counseling work experience, including at least one year in a laboratory setting • Demonstrated ability to accurately and efficiently manage complicated scenarios • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers • Ability to sit for extended periods using computer equipment in normal office conditions • Occasional domestic or international travel required (<10%) • Passing of background check, which may include verification of prior employment, criminal conviction history, educational and driving records
