📋 Description

• Prepare financial reports • Perform account reconciliations • Maintain the general ledger • Perform other accounting duties as assigned • Assist Internal Audit with coordinating completion of Sarbanes-Oxley testing • Perform monthly financial reporting activities • Create and analyze journal entries and account reconciliations • Ensure month-end activities are recorded accurately and timely • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements • Perform cash reconciliations • Handle construction in process/fixed assets and intercompany responsibilities • Respond to quarterly and annual internal and external audit requests • Research variances and resolve issues with process owners • Contribute to development of new or amended accounting processes • Perform financial analysis as required

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Accounting required • Three plus years of progressive financial accounting experience working with all aspects of financial accounting • Strong understanding of US GAAP • Strong accounting, analytical and variance analysis skills • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work with various levels of management across Cornerstone • Proficiency of MS Excel and Word applications required • Solid financial accounting principles • Working knowledge of cost accounting in a manufacturing environment • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
