📋 Description

• Lead the monthly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, balance sheet tie-outs, and intercompany activity • Manage close tasks and approvals in FloQast and JDE • Resolve close issues and ensure accurate, timely completion • Oversee reporting through OneStream and Hubble and reconcile results to the general ledger • Analyze and communicate actual-to-budget and forecast variances for management reviews • Serve as the primary contact for the third-party audit partner • Coordinate audit timelines, requests, and support packages • Track open items and coordinate responses across Accounting, Tax, regional teams, and other stakeholders • Identify and address potential audit findings or control deficiencies • Maintain effective internal controls and compliance with US GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements • Partner with Internal Controls on the Risk and Control Matrix, control documentation, and testing • Communicate technical accounting guidance and lead remediation of control or segregation-of-duties issues • Lead, coach, and develop Staff and Senior Accountants • Build consistent close procedures, cross-training, and coverage while maintaining segregation of duties • Foster a collaborative, accountable, continuous-improvement culture • Support workforce planning and recruiting • Partner with Cost Accounting, Regional Controllers, Corporate Accounting, OneStream, and FP&A on close, consolidation, reporting, and analysis • Provide accounting expertise for system implementations, process improvements, integrations, and special projects

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required • CPA preferred • MBA or other advanced degree a plus • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience • 3+ years leading accounting staff • Experience managing full-cycle close and external audits • Public accounting strongly preferred • Manufacturing or building products experience is a plus • Oracle JDE preferred • FloQast, OneStream, Hubble, FAS, or LAS familiarity is a plus • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting research • Proven leadership, coaching, and talent-development skills • Strong organization, judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage a fast-paced close • Clear analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional partners • Advanced Microsoft Excel and reconciliation/data-analysis skills • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
