📋 Description

• Provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding across 1–4 specialties • Code professional fee and facility charts for inpatient and outpatient services • Calculate ProFee and/or Facility E/M levels using the company algorithm • Assign appropriate codes for simple and complex inpatient/outpatient interventional radiology procedures • Recognize critical care cases by patient acuity • Code ER surgical procedures to capture additional revenue when appropriate • Apply ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes to the highest available specificity • Accurately assign ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT®, and HCPCS diagnosis and procedure codes • Interpret coding guidelines and assess documentation's impact on code assignment and reimbursement • Follow AHIMA's Standards of Ethical Coding, the Company's Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, and Ethics and Compliance Program • Comply with internal policies and procedures • Maintain privacy and security compliance and protect confidential information, including Personal Health Information • Perform additional duties assigned by leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with Interventional Radiology • All coders must hold certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) • Minimum of 1 year of on-the-job experience • Regular, predictable, and punctual attendance • Working knowledge and experience with EMR and billing systems • Phone, reliable internet connection, and current CPT and ICD-10-CM coding references • Maintain productivity and accuracy of 95% or higher • Maintain a quality score of 95% or higher • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally verbally and in writing • Ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines • Ability to work from home independently • Ability to work at a computer terminal for 6–8 hours per day • Ability to lift and move material weighing up to 20 lbs. infrequently
