📋 Description

• Provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding across at least 1–4 specialties • Provide coding services to support clients • Calculate ProFee levels using the company-created algorithm • Recognize critical care cases based on patient acuity • Apply ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes to the highest available specificity • Accurately assign ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT®, and HCPCS diagnosis and procedure codes • Interpret coding guidelines for accurate code assignment • Assess documentation importance and its reimbursement impact • Follow AHIMA’s Standards of Ethical Coding and the Company’s Code of Ethics and Business Conduct • Comply with internal policies and procedures • Participate in company-provided training and education • Maintain at least one AAPC or AHIMA credential • Protect confidential company information and Personal Health Information • Perform other duties assigned by leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Certified through either AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) • Minimum of 2 years of on-the-job experience • Experience with Primary Care, Trauma, Orthopedic, and Neurology specialties • Working knowledge and experience with EMR and billing systems • Phone, reliable internet connection, and current CPT and ICD-10-CM coding references • Maintain productivity and accuracy rate of 95% or higher • Maintain quality score of 95% or higher • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook • Effective professional verbal and written communication • Ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines • Regular, predictable, and punctual attendance • Ability to work at a computer terminal for 6–8 hours per day • Ability to occasionally lift and move materials weighing up to 20 lbs • Compliance with privacy, security, confidentiality, and Personal Health Information requirements
