📋 Description

• Provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding across 1–4 professional fee specialties • Support client coding services • Calculate professional fee E/M levels using a company-created algorithm • Recognize critical care cases based on patient acuity • Apply ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes to the highest available specificity • Accurately assign ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT®, and HCPCS codes • Interpret coding guidelines for accurate code assignment • Assess documentation importance and reimbursement impact • Follow AHIMA ethical coding standards and company ethics and compliance requirements • Comply with internal policies and procedures • Participate in company-provided training and education • Maintain at least one AAPC or AHIMA credential • Protect confidential information, including Personal Health Information • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Must be certified through either AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) • At least 6 months of on-the-job experience • Experience with ProFee IP/OBS coding • Working knowledge and experience with EMR and billing systems • Must have a phone, reliable internet connection, and current CPT and ICD-10-CM coding references • Maintain ongoing productivity and an accuracy rate of 95% or higher • Maintain a quality score of 95% or higher • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally verbally and in writing • Ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines • Regular, predictable, and punctual attendance • Ability to work at a computer terminal for 6–8 hours per day • Ability to lift and move material weighing up to 20 lbs. infrequently
